Do you think she\'ll notice the new ornament?

I\'ve been collecting bits to get my rotary engine coffee table sorted out and decided to have a mess about today and put a few of them together.
Obviously is a work in progess, everything needs cleansing and painting and then bolting together properly and then sorting out how to mount a top to it.

I just wonder how long it\'ll be till her in doors realises :p

I\'m going pre quote..

The mrs - "Adam, why is there an engine on the table?"
Ada7 - "well, I was thinking..."
The mrs - "Move it, NOW."
ada7 - "okay." (whimper this bit)

I see nothing wrong with this picture. Maybe the coaster is out of place and she will notice you have moved it?? Lols

Blimey Adam, seeing this level of "Rotary addiction" you must have some strong drugs in that shiny wagon you drive as I now don\'t know how you went without a Rotary a few years back,:rollin , nice to see you have become one serious Rotary enthusiast along the way :Party

On a more serious note, I would just wrap it up in shiny paper to hide it, tell her it\'s "The present" then have your trainers on ready and the door open for when she opens it Christmas morning :Santa
All the best Clive

Please post pics when the table is finished though. Looking forward to that.

I recently made an ornament too...

It\'s a manifold and turbo from my previous cars\' engine, which I painted bronzebrown.

re japi

Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

It\'s an illness that I\'m sure many of us have Clive as you know. I\'ve just decided to stand up and admit it to the class :p
I was only without a rotary a few years back so I could afford to buy my own place to then house all this stuff in :D
