Hi everyone, i\'m new to the FD. I have got a slight problem which i think might be lead to Boost control solenoid. Only problem is, can anyone tell me where about its located so that i could test/check it? I have searched it but can\'t find any information on where it is. Someone has told me theres 2 different ones? =S if possile if someone can include a picture that would me much apprecieated.
Kind Regards.

I & J in the diagram, they are where they are in the diagram, more likely a burst hose or faulty one way valve

Its not obvious in the pic but theyre litterally the only solonoids you can see right in front of you when you look at the engine from the front,on inlet manifold behind black vac chamber

Oh, and the problem i\'m having is, intermittant boost pressure..
its got worse this weekend.. i can only boost to 0.6 bar max from both turbos.... but now and then i would be able to get the normal 0.9 bar.... so i\'m hoping theres something wrong with the solenoids.. =(

sounds like a boost leak if its both turbos at max boost

Humm I have a BOV on it... Do you think that could be sticking open?

a.tapos

def a possibility, blank it or fit a standard reliefvalve to rule it out,

By the way, are there any known boost leak points?

the short pipe that connects the turbos to the ic piping is prone to splitting and leaking so are normally replaced early, also the hoses going to the bov/relief valves,it can be hard to recreate fault without load,
also double check jubilee clips and condition, its not normally a hard thing to fix when you know whee to look, could slso be the turbos themselves.
