just thought i would post this on here so it could get its post count up, i think this would be a fantastic thing, https://submissions.epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/19328

B.Martin

Read it on dw, great idea but zero chance of it happening I think. Hell sign the petition anyway it\'s not gonna hurt to try!

Will66

The Health and Safety Executive would kill it.

Apparently putting details of your car spec in your signature means the nice folks on exile-rotorsport think you\'re a fool.  I can think of no higher compliment!

Not a hope in hells chance of this ever happening now but worth a punt i guess.

M6 toll road should be closed once a year for everyone with a really fast car to see how good there cars are over say a 10 mile stretch!
We warranty our rebuilt engines for Detonation, track day\'s and RWYB and NOW for 30 months which is two and half years or 30,000 miles
We also build all types of race or road engines.
We build race and track cars too.
Any kind of porting undertaken.
Single turbo conversions.

Aldershot is just begging to be ripped down but that\'s a different matter

I\'ve never been on the toll road but i get the impression its just like any other mtorway so wouldn\'t pose much of a challenge.

Maybe when we get away from the buerocrats of the Eu, which is looking increasingly likely from the news today!

Skifledanabit

Maybe just cheaper track days? I know I can\'t afford what some places are selling them at.

surely we already have plenty of potential British Nurburgrings? Brands, Silverstone, Donington Park etc etc etc... all they need to do is put a toll system in place like they do on the Nordschleife?

Too short really buddy!

Check out some of the land and tarmac tracks the Mod have for testing, there was a trackday at Bovington a couple of years back in aid of Help for Heroes, it was dubbed a mini Nurburgring, i think it was 5 miles of track!

Will66

I was at that trackday and 5 people wiped their cars out on tank traps.  Good fun though!

I was booked but unable to make it, so cant comment on the track, but sure it cant have been any worse than accidents at the ring?

I have a friend who races in one of the tarmac rally series, they regularly use mod land and tracks, in fact the Sunseeker rally around Poole used to use one as a stage, until some spectator incidents and the mod suddenly got all queer about health and safety, or probably more so about being sued!
