Yeap, made about 290hp and 259ft, i will get the dyno sheet posted later on...

Could have made abit more but as Pip says it had a fuel pump problem, problem was that feed to it doesn\'t get full battery voltage. what it should do is approx 9 volts off boost and then jump to full battery voltage when u get boost, but its only jumping to 11volts. its caused by resistance in the wiring.

I didn\'t bother with that as it would only make about 10-20hp i would think, but the injectors was maxed out.

Good or bad i don\'t know but is the rex not 280hp standard? pretty poor to just get a extra 10hp!

What year is your car? As it was only the later ones that had 280bhp and the earlier ones had 255.

Is your HP measured at the hubs? As mazdas I think mazdas HP rating was at the flywheel so you have got a larger increase in power than you would think. But at the worst case you have gained 40HP. Which is good.

At what boost level did you achieve that HP number?

Sort your fuel system out, pump, filter, injectors and FPR and you should see some more HP with some more boost.

Is that graph not flywheel power?

I can\'t tell as Im using my iPhone to view it.

I thought pips dyno was a hub dyno?

Depending on his year of car then head gained either 40hp or 10.

I think I would be happy with that without upgrading fuel system, as he did say the injectors were maxed out.

Mine\'s is a 2000 model.

Am unsure if its measured at hubs or flywheel, but i sent a mail to ask, whats it mean by the hubs? unsure on boost level too as i don\'t have a boost controller installed.

Am pretty much going to sit with this till the engine goes as don\'t want to waste money on build the standard engine when i have single turbo conversion plans later when engine gives up.
Question? when will u know if your engine is going to give up and its due for its rebuild?

Keep an eye on oil and water level. It would be ideal to check compression often! but then again, it would largely depend on the age of the engine and the abuse it has encountered during its living life..So many factors are attached. I would say keep an eye on the water and Oil level.

Guess if oil and water drinks fast then time is near?

Pip was saying "Yours made nearly 300 flywheel" so i guess its at the flywheel.

If it goes through water then yes you may need a rebuild but if you look after the car, change oil and plugs regular and run it on vpower and not standard fuels then there is nothing to say that it won\'t last for a lot longer.
