He said "I would deny it. There is no racism" when asked whether he thought racism on the pitch was a problem in modern-day football.

Ah, utter idiot.

I\'ll change it to Sepp in the title too... :)

The guy is clearly mentally challenged, although Racism has been quite quiet until now. Suddenly after 1 claim there is qucikly a few more, i find it awefully odd that this kind of thing happens makes me wonder if its just an attention seeking thing from certain players. I\'m quite sure Evra has done this before and frankly i can\'t see Terry being guilt of it, its just media attention that some players crave IMO.

FD3S_Lee

When all is said and done in my opinon i dont think that Evra will be too emotionally scarred by racist comments and name calling when he heads back to his million pound mansion and banks his £100+ grand check at the end of the week.

B.Martin

I Agree, it\'s all publicity.

Blatter seems to have this almost untouchable attitude, a lot like Belesconi (spelling), they say what they want and get away with it!

As for racism on the pitch, thats a different subject matter entirely and depends on how pc you are imho, probably something not to discus on here although FDS Lee puts it well, name calling, its hardly like the Spanish throwing bananas on the pitch!

As for Blatter, i would love to see him go but as with everything else he has said, done etc im sure he wont be going anywhere fast!

Hmm, so racism in society is fine if the guy is rich, there is a trial going on at the moment where the boy was called a ni**er at first.....

I was.going to post more or less the same thing Jay but past experience of spiralling arguments with people who have never been subject to racism stopped me. Now Im disappointed with myself. Have always been one to prefer making a point face to face.

Racism is illegal in this counrty not matter how rich either party involved is. But Sebb Blatter is def a T*T
:Laugh LOL

Ignorance is bliss...

Whilst i dont want to get into a political debate, i really struggle to comprehend and understand why it is ok for black dudes to call each other n****r, but if a white guy says it, its racist!

To put that into context, if it is such a bad thing to say, why would they call each other it?

** I by no means wish to entice any animosity and if a mod feels this thread is inappropriate please remove it! But it is a genuine enquiry!

Skifledanabit

It\'s all in the context I suppose, some black people use the word all the time because... Well... They are I suppose, anything they call each other is surely just giving us an insight into their opinion of themselves. Maybe.

I guess at the end of the day, if it\'s meant as a joke between friends or even a sign of camaraderie then it\'s taken as such, but if it (or any racial slur for that matter) is said maliciously with intent to be hurtful and derogatory, then it of course is racist. But obviously you can\'t just say any of these words without some kind of intent, everyone is racist in even small amounts, it\'s part of our genes, going back to cavemen days. Being wary of strangers not from our tribe is hard wired into our psyche. It\'s just up to us how we let it affect us.

Just my two pence, crackers! Lmao! That\'s a joke btw.

My uncle views the term n****r like this :-

That a black person is not a \'n****r\' but a normal person, where a black person that wants to cause trouble, break the law, start flights, deal drugs etc. This kind of black person is a \'n****r\' personally I always thought it was quite a good analysis of the phrase. Many black people dispise the word and the only black people I\'ve heard using it fit into the description outlined. Not that this has much to do with the thread title, but has relevance to jetpilots posts. I guess the reason us \'white\' people aren\'t allowed to use it stems from apartheid in the USA where it was used in a derogatory manner.
