Have you checked the wires feeding the pump ?? Possibly intermittent flow ??

All connecions seemed fine, there is a steady & constant flow comming into fuel rails when i was testing the injectors, im pretty sure there is nothing wrong at the rear its between the fuel entering the rail & going through injectors to engine the problem is

What state is the vac line for the FPR in ? Could it be getting positive pressure off a leaking line and upping the pressure ?

Vac line for fpr was fine, not crispy, no visible damage

I\'m suspecting that the injectors may not be getting power when the engine is turning over, is there a relay or fuse for the injectors?

Ok injectors are getting power, put everything back together & she still wont start, i connected the ground & fuel pump connectors in the diagnostic box with a wire & cranked & she almost started but then battery lost juice, its really pi***ng me off now cant work it out, gonna wait for batt to charge & then try the same thing again & see if any joy

Ive been thinking when the fuel pump was running anyway & i cranked it i may have got more fuel pressure & thats why the injectors fired & it almost stared.

Im starting to think it may be the FPR on the secondary rail, think ill clamp the fuel return line off the fpr & see if that makes a difference because obviously if its faulty & there is not enough pressure in the rail the injectors will not fire

I have been reading up on it & apparently the stock fpr\'s can fail & a tell tale sign is he car running rich which it has been doing

Ok read that rx7\'s reduce fuel flow when the accelerator is fully depressed, when i have been trying to start i have had the pedal fullty depressed

so i tried without the pedal depressed & she coughed & spluttered into life eventually, ran very rough for a few mins & there was a lot of smoke coming from around the turbos but when it warmed up it got better & ran properly & the smoke stopped

going to let it sit for a few days before i start again & see will she start ok, fingers crossed

Sounds like it was just flooded, fully depressing the pedel will mean fuel cut
