Hey all, I\'m going to replace my alternator and power steering belts in the course of fixing the power steering pump, but I\'m not sure which belts I need. The power steering looks standard, but would I be right in saying that I need a shorter alternator belt as it appears the air pump isn\'t in place (or is it!?) See photo:

Anybody know part numbers or where best to get the necessary belts from? :)

Are you running a dual alt pulley or are you hoping the single belt doesn\'t slip, underdrive the waterpump and overheat the engine?

5PK778 is the Gates number for your alternator belt as you have over size pulleys, just a standard for your A/C, P/S.

He has an FD, I run the same setup without issue.

That\'s just the one pulley on the alternator/water pump, I didn\'t even know you could/should get a double?

Phil, thanks for the part number mate, that\'s spot on. :)

The options are to run a dual alt pulley or an idler pulley where the air pump used to be, or indeed get a full epic Gilmer pulley setup:
