Congratulations to James Wilday and POPWERGAINS ( KERIM & JAYDEE )

9.47 AT 149 MPH at Shakespeare today running 1.6 bar

60FT of 1.60

Reckon he would have haave got almost a 9 dead if he hit 1.4 60ft
And that\'s with no traction control !!
Once again contests to all concerned

I reckon if he gets a good launch and 2 bar he will be in the 8 sec region easy.

Amazing for a street rx7.....

Shame never got a chance after, to get a clean run after as we done a set of plugs, then blew the turbo to manifold
gasket.

What specs on turbo and power levels?

JayDee

S480 turbo, on a full bridge with the water seal still intact, made 580 atw at .80 bar, been tuned on the road since so no power figures.

Cool, I know quite a few US cars run Borg turbos, would that compare to a GT45? What box does the car have?

JayDee

Yes similar to a Gt45 I think the Borg has a larger rear wheel, the car has a hks H pattern dog box, on loan!!!!

Wow, thats amazing time! True pistonkilla ;) Well done :)
Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.
