I just want to say a big thankyou for all the work that is being done and has been done for many years by the people who in actual fact probably end up taking more abuse than any guest or member on here.
Not many really appreciate all of the hours, time and effort spent in running this club and looking after and moderating the forum to the very best of those who do abilties, and all done for absolutely NOTHING!
Yes they may make mistakes now and then but by and large a really great job is being done.
It\'s about time that those who disagree and have already vented their feelings just let it rest or move on as it seems to many of us out there that they are the ones who are spoiling the club and not the Moderators.

Keep up the good work everyone!:cheers

I guess perspective is the thing really, keeping things in view that really matter and are important.
Alot of the issues are caused by people wanting to push the boundaries because they see a rule and want to try to bend it. Some people were brought up to resent someone saying you can\'t do this or must do that. In effect saying that I can do what I like and who should tell me how I should behave.
Problem with that is everyone has a differing view of what is acceptable behaviour or not.
So having some regulation that is well within most peoples bounds is a good way really. It protects those who are sensitive and also those who want to open things up a bit as it were know the boundaries.
There are clubs out there that are lax in this regard but that does not mean that MRC has to be that way.
I for one really appreciate the club being this way.

I dont think anyone disagrees with you Carl and perhaps a pat on the back is often forgotten for what goes on behind the scenes. The fact that there is so much conversation recently only goes to show in my eyes, people do care about this club, thats why they are here! However, always room for improvement and perhaps that is what some are suggesting.

As a tuner, once you got to 400hp in days gone by say, ill bet you didnt sit back and say, thats as good as it gets and put your feet up, in fact i know you didnt :) Even if you had you would think, now how can i get this engine more reliable, hence your 24 month warranty.

+1 for the thread title though! :)
