Hiya ,

The ariel on the new cab is in the UP position and wont go down

So is the cab ariel different from the coupe ?

Im looking at trying to find a working one , but could do with knowing if they are different .. if they arent , then it should make the search easier

Esp if its the same ariel from the EGI > TII Coupe > TII Cab

I might have one in the garage - but im not sure ? , so i cant compare them - so thought it was just as easy to ask :D

Thanks

Stu

I think they are the same. I bought one off Pete Taylor (so a good chance it was off a cab) a couple of years back and fitted it to my TII. It was a bit of a tight job so watch out or you\'ll have bloody knuckles.

Is it stuck up because it\'s bent, or has the plastic tooth belt thingy inside snapped?
If the motor is ok it\'s easy to find generic replacement internals.

I have pestered them with questions before and they were happy to help.

Its not that hard of a job to do. Its more awkward than anything else. Probably more so in a cab as you can\'t climb in the boot the same!
