hello!

I met Skifledanabit at JAE (hi!), was liking his badass NA FC.

well I seem to have bought a \'92 FD!

It\'s a jap import one, the previous owner had imported it himself in 04. He had taken it to the nurburgring last summer with no problems, and since then he had done nothing with it and it had just been sitting outside. We went to get it, reconnected the battery, turned it, waaarp waap waap waap vrrrrrr, fired right up!

So, now it\'s MOT\'d (just needed a tell tale for the fog light switch, so I wired in an LED and some resistors), taxed, changed the oil, had quite a few glops of super resin polish to get it shiny again, and I\'ve been daily-ing it into work :)

It\'s black, it\'s got black wheels and a black recaro bucket. looks bad ass!

I bought a recaro seat rail from demon tweeks and modified it to mount the seat further back. I wasn\'t quite sure if it would work, but after a few test fittings and faffing about, I can fit in the car, it\'s really comfy! It\'s now a three seater though, you can barely get fingers down behind the recaro let alone legs!

I can get my mountain bike in it though, pretty pleased about that :)

loving the noises it makes and the way it handles and loving that engine. also liking the jap stereo, it only picks up radio 2 but it does have an aux in and graphic equaliser with karaoke mode!!

Plenty of proper sized guys drive FDs. :D
Enjoy the car and if you need more leg room and it\'s still got the standard steering wheel then getting a smaller one will help there

im quite snug in mine aswell im 6\'4" but i have uk seat runners fitted to a mazda speed seat which means it goes right back and sits slightly lower than standard and i fitted a slightly smaller flat bottomed wheel so i can actually get my fingers over my legs now  :)
