Cab Swimming Pool

Hiya chaps

Left the cab uncovered for about 6 months .. i really think it was a bad idea !

Ended up drilling a hole in the floor to let it out , then found a rubber bung i could remove

Removed the seat , drilled another hole in the floor

The unbloted the seat belt anchor , and found another bung

so now i have 4 holes in the floor , 2 of which shouldnt be there ! LOL

Took out the ABS Ecu(s) and the main ecu

took them to my dad and blew them dry with the compressor

they look ok , no corrosion on them - so might have either

1 - caught it in time
2 - the water didnt get that deep

all fun and games eh .. i must take the "project dry roof" to the next level ASAP

yeah i am , but have left it off for 6 months

currently looking at making the daddy of all covers

have a budget of about £30 ish to pull it off , if it works it will be a stroke of GENIUS

and it should last a life time

infact its a copy of what mazda sold years ago - but finding on is rare as hell !

you can spend that 96p on some more bungs then - fill in your swiss cheese floor
 
Going back to serious - I would paint some protection on those holes if I was you - don\'t want your floor pan going rusty.
