Hey Everyone,

I need some advice, im looking to turn my gen 3 automatic into a manual.

How difficult is this really going to be?

What sort of parts am i going to need etc?

Is it just a waste of time?

Thanks for all you help

Off the top of my head.... Gearbox, clutch, clutch cylinders, pedal box, possibly a different flywheel, and possibly a different driveshaft?

+ diff, ecu. It is easier to just buy a manual. They are not selling for much and there will be someone in the market for an auto.

It\'s not that bad to do, add a starter, hard clutch slave line that runs across the bulkhead for the slave, bit of wiring, clocks. Though you can use the auto clocks, you can just change the flange on the diff to a manual one so you can fit the manual prop. Clutch. , pilot bearing.  If your mechanical minded you can do it in a weekend without breaking a sweat.

Thanks for all your help everyone.

I was ok with the auto gearbox at first but the more i drive it the more im starting to hate it lol. Its just not know when its going to change gear and its very jerky.

Im not even sure if its just clutch needs adjusting. Dont think theres many Autos out there so i could have a word with someone who owns one.

I mainly settled with the auto cos it was a lot cheaper than a manual and i was panning to live with it for a year or two lol
