Thanks Tool.

I had it in the \'Probable Scrappers\' File. Now moved into \'Definite Scrapped\' section.

Always handy if someone comes along and "Wants to buy back their dad\'s car to revisit old times"........ me "Sorry Bud, It\'s a dead \'un".

Can somebody explain to me the mentality of some morons ? Why the hell if its too good just to scrap with a good condition body would you condemn the car by lifting it up with a crane by its roof. The stupidity completely baffles me, what planet are they from ?

Looks like it was a very usable car and probably went for a steal. Could have a good axle for Casey and the interior looks in good condition !

Just completely baffled by it, turned my pc on just to rant :confused::confused:

Handy for a trailer for camping or to the dump-it.

Or to pull another half car like that green dutch one.

Hi Dave.

The above reminded me... The chap I bought my refurbed Elford wheels from said they came off EDF 150 Y four years ago - and he would like to know if it is still running.

Apparently it wasn\'t an Elford (other than the wheels...) but was in very good condition when he last saw it so it should be around somewhere.

To confuse the trail, he had it on a private plate of "32 R" (that must be worth some money...) and EDF was the replacement Reg. when he took 32 R off to sell it.

If you have any info I will e-mail it on to him - I gave him details "our" two forums, and he looked very wistful at the mention of Fb\'s, so we might get him back from the dark side yet...

Sorry Carl, nothing on it - DVLA say it\'s a 1982 car, Unlicensed since 1995.
If you can tell me sometime where you\'ve seen it I\'d appreciate that.

Meanwhile I\'ll enter it as a possible \'off the road\' S2.

Yes we know this car and I believe it\'s up and running in Northants. It was initially on one of the Forums as a drift car with lowered springs; then a year ago (Aug 10) it was sold again and I think it appeared here on MRC.

It has a smart set of Black Wheels.

I\'ll tag that Private Plate to it as well now we know it once used to wear it.

RX7SA

Hello Dave,

My name is Simon and I am RX7SA on here. I have bought car GTB 744V from Rotechniks and plan to restore her. DO you have any info on her at all? Would be interesting to find some history out hey ;)
Do you need anymore info from me about the car for the register? Great Job with this by the way.
From what I can gather here she is an early car, 1979 first registered and has had S2 bumpers and spoiler fitted in place of the original bumpers? Also when I looked her over she has had a 13B conversion (from previous owner I guess) not the original 12a.
Thanks, Simon
