take a brake fluid dot above 5.1.
I suggest you RBF600
the rest should be ok and not have future problems, but we also feel our MRC friends what they think to be more secure

Looking good rob. Who\'s done your engine? Ross? What is your setup?

Engine is from my old track car built in japan by knightsports with a iirc hks to4e changing to a t04r, gearbox is new to me with os gikin close ration 2nd, 3rd and 4th gear set. and ACT 6 puk clutch
Im doing everything except the mapping which i\'ve not decided who\'s doing yet, re-works are top of the list at the moment though

some special pics coming tomorrow hopefully of what i think will be the best mod fitted to the car tomorrow, which should scare the competition and give me aprox 100bhp :mmmm

I\'m going to guess a bad boy rear spoiler? 100hp minimum gained from those things, or possibly a drivers seat, they add like 200hp.:Giggle

is this a lightweight fly with auto counterweight? or standard manual fly and counterweight?




Not that i\'ve disconnected many ppf\'s from the gearbox but everytime i undo the nuts a bit of dirt or rust on the bolt seems to jam the nut on the thread and then i end up breaking the thin bit of metal mazda use to hold the bolt captive so found a good one in my box of parts and had the bolts welded in place should stop all the flaffing about if i ever have to undo the nuts again.

i would just like to say that i admire your patiance and O.C.D. the car is looking amazing. have you done it all or got outside help? you have done exactlly what i want to do, strip it out and start again in your own image.

cage was supplied and fitted by atomic rex
paint was done by a local guy
and the rest has been done by me(except the powdercoating)



I am finding it really, really hard now to keep up with the cleaning!!

Bit more done over the weekend, been cleaning up the engine from all the grime etc that collects over time.

Had the new oil pan brace from dale and danny aka DM-Motorsport arrive on friday so fitted that.



Also had a couple lengths of the magmawrap also supplied by DM-Motorsport to cover all my manifold and downpipe- 20meters it soon got used, the company pics of this makes it look easy, but first go though to get it right,tight, and looking alright was a mission!






Got the gearbox with the os giken gearset in mounted to the engine with my short shift on.

next stage is to lift the engine and gearbox in, hopefully tommorrow

Been working on the car again doing a few hours here and there,
-engine/gearbox/turbo all fitted together and fitted in the car,
-front subframe bolted up,
-front upper and lower arms fitted
-front ARC antiroll bar fitted along with uprated antiroll bar mount,
-steering rack cleaned and refitted although i would like the atomic rex one its outta my price range at the moment ,
-powerplant frame fitted
-\'old\' 4" exhaust refitted but will need looking at again as the silencers are fooked, but its on under the car so its out my my lol
-32 row mocal oil cooler fitted and plumbed back in(still need to do ducting)
-started on my v mount, got the rad mounted but need to get the inlet/outlet moddified to suit v mount position
