So as i\'m not ready to cut the bumper like Papercut yet, i\'m thinking about doing the sleepy eyes on the FC. What do you guys (and The Lacey) recon? I\'ve read i have to unplug the fuse labelled \'retractor\' then i can wind them up maually. Apparentley there is another option, behind the headlight there is a white harness and all i have to do is pull it out as they\'re going up. I know you can wire in an extra fuse and and switch but i\'m not fancying that option, due to knowing sweet F.A about wiring things in.

Although i\'m not sure it will look that good on my stock bumper, most of the good looking sleepy eyes i\'ve seen are on AM bumpers. After typing this and looking for pics of sleepy eyes on stock bumpers - and failing i\'m 60% sure that it won\'t look right on the stock bumper. :3Confused

Opinions please?

(anyone know what bumper this 2nd one is? I actually like it :2eek - Unless its the same as the 1st pic and it just looks different. If so don\'t tell me, i don\'t like it :p)

That\'s not a bumper, it\'s a full front half, look closely, the bumper and front wings are 1 whole piece rather than 3. But yes, aside from that, it is the same as the other one, only it\'s been de-trimmed and smoothed over. The wings have also been blended into the skirts, and the skirts into the rear half. IMO you need a wide car to pull off sleepy eyes.

On a stock bodied fc, decent wheels well be enough to make it look good.

TBH i\'d buy a proper kit for it. If you\'re pulling the fuse you\'ll need to bang it back in when you put the lights on! that sounds like effort!

\'91 FC TII - Drifter... Under construction :D

Yeah i was afraid of that, it looks awesome in the second pic but not the first. I\'m just not huge on some of the kits you get for the FC. I\'d rather fit fenders to she stock front and rear bumper and some spats on the back and a nice lip on the front. Each to their own though eh?

What you think about sleepy eyes The Lacey?

I added a switch to the retractor button, it allows u to stop them part way up/down, I found a write up on here somewhere and reposted it so look for a thread under my name

Thing is mine still function as normal due to the cutouts of the bumper

Yeah looks good with an AM bumper, think I\'ll just leave it and eventually cut the bumper like other Bens which is an epic win!

is there a way to get my headlights to sit like this and stil pop up, without breaking them? Anyone know?

TiddlesRX7

Yeah. Wind them up a little using the manual winders underneath. Then they\'ll open and close from that point. Not sure why you\'d want to though. It ruins the lines of the car IMO.
I don\'t need to upgrade my stock turbo to beat your ass!

Get your finger out, get it on the road and start driving it then!!! (B.Martin 25/2/12)

I guess i\'ll try it once i\'ve fitted the splitter see how it looks. I love it on that white one, maybe it wont look so good on mine.
