Hi guys,
I have this downpipe in my garage, I would like to install it :)
My FD run at 0,85 of boost, mapping was done by ReWorx whitout a boost controller on apexy PFC

I do not have the cat and precat is a japspec run whitout the precat :) And I have a catback system whit large diameter, I think 76mm.
so the difference between the two is only in diameter, you think I need the new map for instal this?
Thx all :D

Hope not, planning on doing the same soon

i think you prob would, carl at hayward told me if ever i change the back box on my fd i would need a remap, i am running a straight through 3" system with no cats and an apexi back box at the moment (thats what it was mapped with), but i could be wrong

I mean, the problem is that without a boost controller, the pressure may increase and therefore would not be appropriate fuel mixture.
the fact is that I do not know what could go up and if my map is rich enough not to cause damage.
I trust much of Carl, so I follow that advice :)

Your map will need to be adjusted as a 3" downpipe releases a lot more power.

As above and you will have boost spikes and creep especially without a boost controller.  The apexi can control up to a certain amount with the standard solenoids but nowhere near aswell as aftermarket.  I assume your wastegate hasn\'t been ported either??  If not, you will have boost creep which can\'t be controlled....

Yup, spooled a lot earlier and harder with mine - deffo needs a check at the very least. Will also, as said, hugely increase potential for creep.

I understand, but I get the benefits in performance if I install it with a boost controller to keep the low @0,85 of boost?
I would not spend money for useless to new boost controller, in the future will be single turbo, a new map will be made :)

I\'m not entirely sure what your saying there, but even if you manage to keep to the same boost you will still need your map checked.
You will understand why once you fit it:evillaugh

Yep, it will boost earlier, so the map needs checking to ensure there\'s enough fuel for that boost.

If you suffer true creep (not spiking), no boost controller can control it, it\'s a function of the wastegate.

damn:Hammer
nothing then do not I mount, here in Italy is already difficult to find someone who will map the unit properly.
so my car is perfect now, I do not want someone to do damage my Engine :Nono!

When it\'s time to make a single turbo, I will think.

If I find any I will try to contact ReWorx for helpme :Yawn
