depending on rebuild cost, i thought baout shipping a used block from jap. cheaper than rebuild but most likely gonna be buying twice but if u can do engine swap yourself then is not really a biggie lol
maybe pot luck 3rd engine will be either low milage or rebuit and ported and a bt of a monster lol

It would be cheaper to stick a new motor in your FC than get an RX8.  Perhaps m1tch is open to offers on his bridgeported motor? :)

Perhaps m1tch wants his bridgeported motor for perverted purposes however it would be a shame to break your FC for the sake of less than the price of any other decent motor you could find for a rebuilt engine.

As much as i\'d like to purchase bits of your car when you break it.... Will is right, plus the work and effort and money you\'ve put into it will all be for nothing if bits of it end up all across the country.

And you know there is that part of you thats saying.... "you should rebuild it man."

Brand new crated RX8 engine is about £3K - and one has been fitted to an FC :)

Renesis engine in an FC?! That would be like an egi but fast, awesome!!

I vote do that if your against rebuilding the 13B and want something different.

I believe that with the 6 speed RX8 gearbox the gear selector is in a slightly different place vs the RX7, so the gearstick won\'t be central like OEM.

Hell for a n/a FC with 230bhp and 6 gears, can probably compromise with the gearstick location :Giggle
