Its  only going to be open one way north to south which is not an issue as  for those of you who haven\'t driven the punch bowl this is an absolute  must before it closes two days later!  

6:30-7PM meeting at the  National trust Carpark on the A3 just north of the Hindhead traffic  lights Next door to Barons BMW on London road GU26 6AE

After some  aural Hoonage there is an amazing curry at Spice a restaurant on the  corner which does a pucker set meal for £15 a head of about 6 courses

So Who wants to come?

I\'m not going to be able to make this but thanks for the info... not been down there in a few months, never knew all the traffic works were for a tunnel... 1.9Miles long too

I\'ll be checking out the tunnel as soon as i can as only live 5 minutes from it.
Just becareful when you\'re driving through it though as i have been told that the bend in the middle of it is quite sharp (apparently). You have been warned

Just been through it on blue lights. Good fun. Will be better in my Rex though, windows down in second gear at 7k rpm
