think i am my have disturbed something!

the coils are labled t1 L1/2 t2. on the housing it has L and T. L is the bottem T is the top. the leading is wasted spark so has two leads going to it. i do advise drawing things before taking them off for the first time

When i changed the leads i carefully folded back the throttle body onto the plenum.......maybe i have disturbed map sensor. Will have a look today after a sleep.  Leads are fine.

Does that mean the front IC would have worked?  I helped a mate fit a huge front mount to a r33 gts. No mapping ran fine (better).
 My car has gone from a minter to a munter in 2 weeks! Lol. One thing for sure I am not messing with it any more once i get it sorted.

The install of a FMIC by itself shouldn\'t have affected anything. You\'ll see colder intake temperatures, and potentially a few more horses, but without a full remap you wouldn\'t get the full benefits.

Going by the symptoms you talk about, I\'d say it\'s likely you\'ve knocked something - possibly the MAP sensor (it has BOSCH or DENSO written on it IIRC).

Do a Google search or search the forum on here for the \'94 workshop manual, will help identify all the potential bits and bobs you\'ve touched, also the order of the leads

I had some sleep......Rang Carl at Haywards.........in safe mode!! ECU reset and all fine.......been out and gave a thrashing and so far so good!

due to flooding and trailing lead loose? Not front mount?

Front mount is still in there... but hooked up on standard ic.... got 4 days off starting tomorrow gonna hook it back up as i want to know if this put me in safe mode or not.

let me check something quick,.,,am i reading this correct

outer coil left to top spark left. inner coil left to bottom left spark. right coil inner to top right spark and right outer coil to bottom right spark???

sounds a little wrong,, basically the middle coil with the 2 leads should go to both bottom spark plugs .   The left coil to top left plug  and the right coil to the top right plug? yes?

that a typo error leads are spot on inner 2 leads on wasted spark to bottom plugs. left to top left and right to top right.

It works no problem and lag minimal....all in and working so can confirm front mount will work without new ECU and remap.

Ecu reset neg off brake pedal on 30 secs.

Hope my experience helps somebody else with their car...in all honestly wish i never fitted it absolute pig from start to finish.....but hey ho got there in the end.
