Hey there.

I have been trying all day with a friend of mine and we are stuck removing the old brake pads from the car.  Does anybody have a pictured step by spet diagram or instructions of how to replace brake pads?

Caliper is standard 4 pot on a 1992 FD3S RX7 Efini

Any help would be awesome. Thanks :)

ok if its 4 pot i take it its the front ones? pull out the retaining spring, use a hammer and punch to take out the pins, prise out the old brake pads 1 at a time, then push back each pot back together on that side, use a screwdriver and give the pad surface area a good clean up, copper grease the sides and rear of the pad being carefull not to get any on the friction material or disc and then just slide the pad in then just do all the rest the same, just be carefull when putting the pin back in that the holes for the retaining clip are in the correct position

Fronts - Thank you Wolfie :) Ill try this :) Its bloody hard getting those pins out!!

Put copper slip on the pins so it isn\'t as hard a job next time ! Just don\'t get it on any friction surfaces !
