Hi everyone I\'m Leigh from south Wales I got myself a 1995 fd3s about a year ago as project car after owning an rx8 and loving it. I own a garage and am a mechanic myself and wanted to learn more about the rotary engine. I\'ve re built the engine with a single turbo conversion front mount intercooler upgraded injectors power fc then taken it apart and half bridge ported the plates myself and built it again. At present I\'m running the engine in hoping to get it ok in time for the gap show. the engine runs fine and I\'ve given it a few blasts and the afr\'s seem fine. I live near Merthyr tydfil south Wales and was wondering if any one new of a good dyno tuner who\'s in my area?......

Welcome to MRC.. Well you are in S. Wales, So I dont know anyone there!! But the best tuner in my opinion is Pip WGT Auto developments, who tunes car on Dyno too.. I think he is far away from you.

I leave it to the other members of the forum to direct you towards the tuners near you..

You are correct Syed, there are no decent RX tuners in South Wales :3Confused. I went to Jaydee last time i had a Rex to tune, a bit of a journey but well worth it :cheers

thanks! ive heard good things about wgt autos i think im going to have to take a trip down there.

tuners near you would be
Rotechniks (Reding)
Dragon (down south)
Powergains
WGT
Haywardrotary

Out of all of them Rotechniks would be the closest to you, and me come to think about it! LOL Good to see another in Wales :)

Thanks for the help! Nice to see I\'m not the only Welshman on here I was starting to think I was on my own I havnt seen another rx7 around my area.

hellllo.. we`ll have to sort out a south/mid wales meet some time. sounds like a few kicking about the area.. if from hereford so im just on the right side of the border lol.....
if i had 8 hour to cut down a tree. i`d spend 6 sharpening the axe

No mate I own a garage In south Wales called top gear auto services! Are u on fduk I think I\'ve seen your project thread on there nice work!
