Hand commander problems

Hi
Rx7 FD.
My hand commander has not been working for a long time, so finally found one 2nd hand, just went to plug it in. Nothing so gave it a wee giggle about and the buttons lit up but nothing on the screen, just to make sure plugged old one in nothing.
So has to be some thing wrong with ECU plug.
Now what to do next. I don\'t really want to open it up to have a look anyone know what to do with this, can\'t really afford a new one that was cash for coilovers

Have you got the right commander for your ECU. Some of them only work with cetain ECU\'s. If you search commanders i\'m sure there\'s a thread all about them somewhere

fd3s2 pfc = fcc2 ZF commander (they are specific for older ones )
fd3s4 = fcc3 commander

Car run fines but want to see what\'s going on via commander. It\'s now away with a ecu fixer man. See how it gos

got the ECU back turns out it was the little black locator plug was to long, so when it was plugged in it dint make a good conecton.. problem sorted. also when your EGI fuse is removed for deflooding the hand commander dont work, learnt that the hard way doh
