GT30 is too small, you want at least a GT35 per 2 rotors. I\'m looking at a GT3794r for a streetport ported FD engine.

I was looking at a GT4088 until deciding to go all out and get a T88 :D there is a T78 going for silly low money in the for sale section btw!

I was thinking about ordering something from Rotaryart, but now I\'ve got little alarm bells ringing in my head.

nothing wrong with Rotaryarts, ordered loads of stuff from them in the past, prompt service . Just politics between them and MRC

You kun7s can thank me later for my immense knowledge and contacts! :WaveBye

There is too much bullsh7t in the rotary/performance car game! :Typing and its only getting worse with the internets and exponential hype in general.

I\'ll continue to debunk it for many a year into the future, but my tolerance for the internets/forums/blogers/gen Y+ know it all fu7kturds is pretty low these days :WaveBye

The Kit does not include all of the parts needed to build one of these engines and the expense is not in the block alone, also the time for doing the build is much more extensive than a 2  rotor engine contrary to what people might think with for example maching needed doing for the side housings.
Ontop of the block price there is the custom fitting, speial ancillaries and manifolds for the inlet which depending on what you want to achieve can be fairly straight forward or complicated.
As for turbo charging one then you run into difficulties trying to keep the engine cool,up the drag strip is easy for 10 seconds but on the road it is an entirely different matter, hence why no turbo 4 rotor engines are raced on circuit as of yet even by Mazda.
Engine management is expensive too that will run a setup like this.
So it is wrong to paint a picture that it is a doddle and cheap when it clearly is not.

We warranty our rebuilt engines for Detonation, track day\'s and RWYB and NOW for 30 months which is two and half years or 30,000 miles
We also build all types of race or road engines.
We build race and track cars too.
Any kind of porting undertaken.
Single turbo conversions.

Machining isn\'t a problem . I\'m a toolmaker by trade but do on-site machine for a living . The only thing that worries me is sorting a crank . I\'m thinking of machining a Ghetto spec crank as mentioned earlier . Might consider doing 2 , one for someone else .

Grant Monkhouse

i cant see there being a problem with the said ghetto spec e shaft, i just wont have that distinct 787B lemans car sound, i also think that from reading many threads on 4rotor build is that the 2 joined 13Bs is easier to tune, timimg etc.

and i would have thought it was easier balanced as you essentially have 2 up 2 down so to speak, instead of the 90* split between each lobe on the 787B shaft, admittedly t
i dont think the 787B shaft goes 0*, 90*, 180*, 270* from front to back. anyone understand that?? think i have just confused myself

Grant Monkhouse

with the ghetto shaft you would have to build a custom centre to cover the join.

there was a tread on ausrotary where 2 have put 2 12a\'s together like this and got it running on carbs with no exhaust, lets just say it sounded like Ares the god of war clearing his throat!!!!!!

i will try find the page and post the link
