ive not done a 1/2jz yet, the ls always wins out in power and weight, but it would be fast, the ls1 powered supra had to have modified sumo, subframe, engine mounts and gearbox mounts !! but worked well when it was all done. i can do the fabing for you if you need it doing cheers craig

hi Craig, thanks for the response. Ive just seen some pics you put up on mkivsupra.net, i will soon contact you via pm.

Firstly I want to get the Rx7/1jz conversion out of the way, could you fabricate the subframe, mounts, crosmember etc for that conversion?

When the above is done then i will more than likely consider the Ls1 conversion, would you be able to give me a rough total cost for the conversion and parts needed please?

regards

Ray

the anti roll bar is in std position not been lowered, ive had the first drive in it and all good so far after soooo much work, the wastgates had 13 psi springs in which i have swapped for 4 psi ones,i had it on emeralds dyno but it pegged the dyno at half throttle at 2800rpm !!!!!!!! . it drive normally up till 1/4 throttle very smooth and torquey then as it boosts it just smokes tyres even in third at half throttle and this at 4 psi :D   i cant imagine what it going to be like at 15 psi . even with two gt35s 1.06 exh housings it makes real boost from 1750 rpm way earlier than i thought it would .Got to run it in more and get it to a bigger dyno and see what it will do (or hoe drave i am with the boost)

Sounds like an animal :) (probably does SOUND like an animal too!)

Don\'t know of many dunks but the one nearest me is at AET turbos and their dyno can take 2,000 hp.

It\'s a hub dyno too, so if you don\'t know anywhere else that can handle it I can get there number fOr you
