Was at a preview of the museum yesterday and have to say WOW, the building is amazing :) They are still working on the displays and there were more workmen than exhibits to see, but looks like it will be a big upgrade over the old Kelvin Hall location for the collection.

Mentioned that they need to have a rotary engine somewhere and approached them with the idea of a Mazda meet hosted there.

How many old Mazda\'s do we know of up here or willing to drive to Glasgow ?
They liked the idea of one of each model ( if possible ).

So covered for an RX-8 :), am sure can find plenty of RX-7 choices.
But anyone with other models interested in doing an "event" and get some publicity for club and model ?

As well as "one of each on display" they were also positive on setting aside parking spaces for all other members/owners who attended.

Any interest ?

PS: the museum ...... http://www.glasgowlife.org.uk/museums/our-museums/riverside-museum/Pages/default.aspx it\'s FREE entry at all times ( though the tall ship moored behind does charge )
