The top of the gearbox, where it meets the engine. is there ment to be a plate to cover the underside of the clutch?
In the pic you can see part of the flywheel, this ment to be covered? is it bad if it is not covered?

anything else wrong with the pic?

thanks

Yeah that should be covered up. Also you should have an undertray on too but I guess you took that off before taking the pic.
I don\'t need to upgrade my stock turbo to beat your ass!

no plate covering the flywheel.
There are possibility that solids will enter the housing and damage the teeth on the flywheel. Water gets in will oxidise the metals which create rust and degrades the material. so at least for now put few layers of duck tape on it :)

That\'s the clutch inspecton plate that\'s missing - held on by 4 10mm bolts - I bet the other plates may also be missing - one on the drivers side, one on top of the engine and there\'s a vent on the side with what looks like an old wartime aircraft exhaust on it.

You should be able to see all 3 of them from the top.  Clutch vent (the exhaust looking thing) is on the passenger side of the gearbox bell housing but close to the engine, the top cover plate is literally on the edge of the rear iron and bell housing interface, and likewise the drivers side cover piece on the rear iron - possibly covered by your downpipe and screamer. - but you should be able to spot it - it\'s only a thin plate on the side

your 100% right prof!
thing is can not tape over the lower inpection hole as the flywheel looks at if it would touch the flywheel.

tape something like a lolly stick or likewise so it keeps the tape off the flywheel
