Hello

I have switched to a big alloy radiator 52mm deep. I couldn\'t get the fan surround to fit so I\'m fitting a electric fan. Just wondering what u guys are using out there and the results?
Cheers:)

I managed a pair of 12" electric 80W fans - wired in parallel - bit of fail safe if one dies.  They are mounted diagonally to get them to fit - but still a bit of overlap - not pretty - but effective.

Single large Electric fan off I think a Volvo s80 does the ticket in my s4. You need to wire it properly using a heavy duty relay etc as that baby munches some juice!! I will see if I can get a pic today and post it up.  I think and electric fan of a c class merc also fits too

The volvo fans are a good choice - but can\'t be mounted flush because of the design, so you need to use it in a shroud or have some stand offs.  I used to use one on my vert - noisy as hell, but shifts air big time !!

I have seen from other post the C180 fan with the shroud fits the TII perfect, my local scrape yard dont even have a C180 , joy of living in a small town lol.
thanks for the info, will go to the wreckers and see if they have some volvos :)
