as the title goes really. What is this. I think it got knocked off my car when getting it off a ramp (silly low). But its still connected to the car, havn\'t really tried following the wire out of lazyness, but tbh i can\'t see it helping too much.

Can i just remove it? doesn\'t look like it\'s too important?

what do you think?

cheers
james

Jit

Looks like the exhaust temp sensor from the cat

dthebuk

and that would explain why the heat light has come on and why the exhuast suddenly got extremely loud. There is no cat though

Thank you very very much!

From memory just put it to earth by tucking it behind the heat shield and the heat light will stay off

cheers clive. Do you sell replacements? This one looks a bit dead and now the exhaust sounds like it\'s blowing

no point in getting a new one tbh, without the stock cat it\'s pointless. iirc you can disable the sensor via the Commander to stop the heat light.

dthebuk

sweet, just tucked it up and its all fine now, realized theres no hole for it to go in so i guess my exhaust is blowing.

thanks for the quick help
