Hi guys, This might seem like a dumb question, but i just bought a \'92 FD, and the light in the idiot-cluster refuses to go off.  Its had a 3" diametre pipe all the way through fitted before i got the car, and i have a feeling the guy has screwed the sensor up in the process.  Is there any way i can fix this w/o taking the car to a specialist at all?

if the probe wire has been cut then it will permenantly be lit you can get to it from under the divers seat and the carpet make sure you disconnect the seat belt wire first.
i think what i did was wire the ends together.

Thanks mate, i had a feeling it might have been this, as the previous owner stripped the interior out, carpets etc.  Will get the seats out and have a good looksie in a bit

Aye, i know its something to do with the sensor, or the fact i have a complete straight-thru system, but its more the fact that i want my PFC to be able to use the light as normal.  And yes, the light was always on before i put the PFC on, and i used the commander to check sensor readings, and they all appeared fine...
