Just to keep all updated on progress. The car is at Tims at the moment having the big single turbo installed and all going well so far, very pleased to find out that they did a compression test and had figures in the high 7\'s, sweet (execpt it means i will have to wait for some porting till the engine blows...Doh!) I should have it back next week, so will update then!

OK, its a Blitz (KKK) K27, other than that i have no more details, but according to Matt, its probably the biggest he has fitted to an FC, so going by their opions really. Is that elaboration enough. Wish i could tell you more details on it really.

Well the day is drawing near, i have the car back with additions:
Microtech (thanks to Japspy)
4 x 1000cc HKS injectors
Uprated fuel pump
Single Turbo
Exhaust
Boost Controller
XPD Clutch
Etc etc
Thanks to Tim and all the boys for their help if they are reading this.
Rolling road is booked with Jeff from Reworx @ CPL Monday to sort out proper fuelling map and get some figures, so, fingers crossed, and will let all know the results.

Gman

Can you give me an idea of price breakdown?  I have some of the mods already but have big plans so i want to know what sort of price i will be looking at.

Come on bonus **crosses fingers**

jetpilot

No worries
Injectors £500 - £600
Fuel Pump £100
Microtech £650
Boost Controller £250
Clucth £250 (not sure what its like, bit of a gamble)
Second hand turbo kit, so not really applicable £500 + usually
Labour, including making downpipe £800
Remainder of exhaust £350 Powerflow
Will let you know what figures i get with this.

oohhhhh sounds like you could be on for big BHP !

i would assume that you are looking at around 280 RWHP ?

It may be optimistic but i would be happy with 300 rwhp, i would have had the engine stripped and rebuilt with a bridge or street port but it gave excellent compression results, high 7\'s in fact!
Fingers crossed.

grinder

i take it that you have gone for a large intercooler and bigger rad ???

i didnt think the stock items could handle that sort of BHP

although im only gussing as thats what 88gtr has done :)

I will go with a bigger intercooler once funds are available, as for the rad, i am going to take advise. I have not driven it hard yet, as i still have the original clutch in untill thursday, but the water temp sticks at a steady 88, which seems pretty good.
Intercooler is a must though, just need to raise some more money. :D

Brett

Nick a bigger IC off of a scrapped car, I seem to remember that some of the old Toyota turbo\'s had large(ish) intercoolers and there\'s lots of those languishing in scrapyards up and down the country.  All you need to do then is buy some piping and cut/shape it to fit.  Unless you\'ve got your heart set on speanding lots of £££\'s?
