Recently my heater matrix cracked and spilled hot coolant all through the interior.
I have bought a replacement matrix now.

How do I replace the matrix? Is it difficult?

Its a dash out job im afraid mate. Not something that can be done in an hour or 2 I would think.
I don\'t need to upgrade my stock turbo to beat your ass!

Get your finger out, get it on the road and start driving it then!!! (B.Martin 25/2/12)

We changed one yesterday and it wasn\'t too bad. Took us around 3 to 4 hours but rather than pull the dash all the way we free\'d up the passenger / lhs and dropped the matrix out without moving the entire heater box. Apart from cutting the top of my head it was pretty easy :D
If you want a step by step i\'ll do my best to explain.
Dave.
