Ah ok, I knew that there were some sort of EGI that has worse brakes lol what if you put on braided lines as an upgrade?

dthebuk

im under the impression that braided lines are there to give of more linear feel, and will take more of a beating if you\'re running on track. Probably last longer too

Having the braided coating, they won\'t bulge when you put the pressure on - so more of the braking force from the pedal / master cylinder goes to the calipers :)

They are also stronger than the rubber only ones

As we are onto brakes you might as well just fit FD front calipers, no difference in performance but less prone to sticking.  The rears will have to stay standard. As a matter of interest the rear calipers of an FD will not fit the FC and there is no need to as the piston is exactly the same size and area so will be of no performance gain other than reliability.  TII brake servo will be a gain, as will fitting a FD master cylinder to it.

I tried the brake cylinder, won\'t work on the EGi\'s, I\'m just deciding if it\'s cheaper to get the FD caliper or just rebuild my ones

Or is there an upgrade... I saw earlier that evo brakes swap with some fettling... Anything else like that...?

alfa gtv or jtd twin fan fits need to cut and reweld 3 brackets if you look from the back of the fan the top right fits direct others just need cutting off and moving (need to use the alfa wire harness too but works well dosnt fully fill all the rad but far better than the engine one and frees up alot of space)

fd aftermarket exhaust manifold i beleive fits just may need a spaver for one of the ports.

billybobbooth

anyone know about fd inlet manifold?

billybobbooth

any radial caliper will fit just need a mounting bracket. front pos back if the handbrake is built into the disc rather than the caliper (havent changed any cables yet lol)

Furb

Thats not really interchangeable is it..

With modification, almost anything is possible!
But your examples include too much fabrication to call them interchangeable ;)

Some of the other things need slight mods too. Was more that they fit with very little effort. And all parts can be got from scrap yards so are cheap.

re japi

This is a great topic! :) Someone should start similar about FB`s too...
Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

not sure if its been said:

JDM and Uk rear lights.

Diff will fit mx5 (NA, NB), FD, Rx8.
2 doritos on a stick woohoo :rollin

infernal

You\'ll need to drill two holes to fit the JDM rear lights...
