Hey Guys,
 
Anyone know of any places around london that can lap plates and do it for a good price..
 
i need to get mine done after the machinest is finishing dowelling the engine..
 
any pointers or contacts appreciated

Can your machinist not do this or maybe recommend someone ?
 
Otherwise a trawl on the \'tinterweb for engineering firms with a lapping table ?

no he dont have one..
 
he just said search googles.. i did find some place in maidestone but they said it would be at min £300 to get it done!!
 
I also am in need of a press to press my modded rotor bearings in to the new rotors...

i can get them done for alot less and can do the bearings on my press too if you like.
Give me a call on Monday.

Mick@Hurley rotary pressed my new bearings in for me :)
They\'ve got the proper tool to line them up if I remember rightly :)
