Found this Spirit R on Pistonheads today.
I\'m afraid I don\'t think the blue suits the Spirit R (decals don\'t seem to stand out that well - much better on the white or reds) and the price is a little steep. But its in the UK, registered and for sale - for anyone that has cash to splash!

Maybe for a Christmas pressie? :Santa

(P.S. It\'s not mine - I\'m happy with my \'99 RBs)

Nahh even thou this would have been white, I m sure this wud have not fetched 25k!! U can probably buy two and half for this amount of money!! Last year the one I saw in Pakistan was for 10.5 k!! And da import duty in Pakistan is 400percent!! So ppl can do the calculation lolll.. I have done alot of research on them.. As I wanted to use one for my next project....

GLWS to whoever owns it!!

Just a shame that the seller doesn\'t love the RX7 enough to keep it - looks like they just want to make money out of it.

very nice.. but i know a man who can get cheaper, closer to £20k OTR hehe
shame i not got £20k :\'(
2 doritos on a stick woohoo :rollin

I don\'t think it\'s priced to badly. The best spec rx7 and probably the rarest with only 11k on the clocks.

As for the owner not liking it enough. whats the point in owning a £20k rx7 when you could own a much better (spec wise) one for half the price, or even less. Low milage cars are for people with deep pockets

Probably why I paid top dollar for my RB-s - but then it had only done 11k miles by the time I got it. :wiggle

And it had been registered new in the UK in 2001 - mind you it was a 1999 build and had sat in the Surrey Mazda dealership for those intervening few years.

where does it say the owner doesnt like it??    i personally would love a spirit r over any uk rx7. regardless of how many horse power o how expensive the body kit is..

the spirit r is the rx7 at its best. rarer than hens teeth.   that low miles. why is it not worth it. same sort of money as a 2004 996 turbo. i know which i`d rather have!!!

i have a 2000 rs  with 20k miles on clock.. which is completey stock in every way. im building up to one.. i will have a spirit r one day
if i had 8 hour to cut down a tree. i`d spend 6 sharpening the axe

Youre having a giraffe! :rollin I tried bidding on a smashed up spirit R (by smashed up I mean totally wrecked never to see the road again) and couldnt buy it for less than 8k landed so where you are getting 10.5k from I dont know!!! In Japan, Spirit Rs are still fetching atleast 1.5mil Y in Japan so realistically thats 15k in the UK and then another 600ish to register it.
If that Spirit R has 11000 on the clock then it would have come in around 23-26k landed! I saw it in the docks when I was collecting one of my cars and it did look to be in superb condition :god

No disrespect to your research and experience, but if you have not been able to locate one for 10.5k does not mean that No one els can locate one for 10.5k...::driving! I am sure you are aware that there other people out there who would buy RX7\'s not for breaking but for selling..so the source comes from them. I think you need to look around near Nagoya (japan) or meet with the right people who can source you one, simply your experience does not negate my submission :Nono!, However, if you have 10.5k (providing the Spirit R is still available) lets go to Pakistan, I can get you that Spirit R (blue colour One),

It is a right car for breaking..:Ladys-man

When I say the seller doesn\'t like it enough to keep it - put yourself in their place. Would you, having a love for the RX7 and having sourced the ultimate version and got it all the way home, then just put it up for sale? Looks to me as though they are just in it for the profit.:2Rolleyes

not alwats the case. maybe he`s lost his job or need to sell it to pay for an operation. ( random i know) but you get my point. i`ve had to sell 3 rex`s so far not through choice but circumstance. so i look at things from different perspective
