Have any of you guys seen the new Mazda tv advert/branding?

There\'s a whole bunch of short films there, of which the TV ads are cut down versions.

It\'s all based around brand concept rather than specific models. As someone who makes these kinda videos (for less cool clients I might add!) for a living it blew me away. The films are really nicely put together and the whole defy convention thing is really cool.

So the question is, is it one of those things which people who\'ve experience of marketing think is awesome and the public think is \'meh\', or is it genuinely cool?

Saw this yesterday but did not get a chance to play around on the site, must be the best advert marketing I\'ve seen. :Thumbs-up

Speaking as a former advertising salesperson it\'s very slick and polished.  It really brings their core values of "jinbat ti" (sic) to the fore and pushes their "light weight and good handling" message.

Plus there\'s lots of cool footage, the FD drifting is very cool as is the 787B at Le Mans and there are some nice shots of RX8s and Cosmos and stuff.

I saw it last night after the football on sky. I was down the pub and my mate wonder what the hell i was doing as i paid more attention to it than to the match itself :p It was only spurs anyway :rollin
Great advert and does kind of make you think they haven\'t given up at all on the rotary engine as they showed loads of rotary cars

Anybody else seen this TV advert yet? I caught it late last evening with one eye closed.

I don\'t know how long this has been running, I don\'t think it\'s more than a day or so?

I thought it was interesting that there was so much emphasis on the rotary engine.

Just seen the new Mazda advert - very cool. RX-7, RX-8 and the Le Mans car and a hint of something new to come?
