Perhaps you guys could help, was out driving my FC (87 EGI) and I came off a roundabout and then engine died.. now the engine will crank but there seems like is no fuel.

Its like an emergency fuel cut has kicked in?

Any ideas?

dthebuk

what makes you think there is no fuel?

have you got spark?

Just a guess at the moment, i need to check i have a spark next.

Perhap it is getting too  much fuel and has flooded?

dthebuk

wouldn\'t cause it to cut out, and i can\'t see why it\'d suddenly get too much fuel. Could be the coils gone

When was the fuel filter changed? Has the 20 year old+ fuel pump been changed?

N22CK_C

It\'s not flooded.. Got the fuel pump on a switch. The pump is about a year old.. Unsure about the filter.. And the coils?

dthebuk

Well mate first things first, you need to know weather or not the engine is getting fuel or spark and then go from there.

Obvious question... Not trying to insult/be rude, but a lot of people do forget...

Have you checked all the fuses?
