re japi

Ok, my brother has opportunity to buy Fd3s. Its quite good project car, used to be a drifter. No we are thinking to modified that car into rally and rally sprint. Unfortunatly our rules (again) are forcing to change engine... :(

Then we started to think, maybe we can modified that engine to N/A. Well, is that possible and/or smart? Rotors has to changed, but what about intake and so on? Car has Apex\'i power FC on it, can it be used? Or is our idea just waste of time and money...?

Any suggestions and tips would be appriciated... :)
And any tips about FD3s "weak points"...

Thanks
Japi
Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

It would depend on what porting the regulations allow for your class?

Eitherway you will need a complete change of manifolds etc... The apexi may be upto the job, but I would go for something more advanced...

Porting isnt a problem. We were thinking that we could try to do a bridge port.

does it have to use the rew? if you\'re thinking of going bridge then the rensis engine would be a good choice. Management will be more of an issue though

Well, no. But that engine is allready in that car. ;) And buying a different engine would cost more than modifying that engine...

Not if you just swap out a complete engine and sell the one that is in there :)
