Car\'s not an import, so highly doubt it. Could be the adjustable suspension switch but having had a look and currently have that whole section out, theres no connector it can actually click into, so I\'m guessing a feature not installed or switch put there for the sake of it.

grinder

that could of been pretty cool if it did have it !

but looking at the pics - there are no motors on the top of the front struts

On the UK cars, that switch was for an optional front fog light.

The adjustable suspension stuff was only on the GTU/GTX N/A\'s they got in the states, and the switches and stuff for that are where we have coin holders. On some verts with speakers in the headrest, they have audio controls in that same space.

I think pretty much all the wiring options are provided underneath the cowling.

That explains the 5000 plugs that don\'t connect to anything under that central arm rest then!

i suppose in theory in the arm rest you could have wiring for ...

Front Fogs
Rear Fogs
Adjustable Suspension
Audio Controls
Elec Mirrors

so there could be a fair bit of stuff in there ;)

Wahey! Well done you 2! What did it need?

Lacey

Well on Prof\'s advice the first time round we de-flooded, and used the foot-to-floor method when cranking to keep the engine clear of fuel.

Only mine doesn\'t have fuel cutout, so we were just re-flooding it XD

After another de-flood and trying the NOT foot to floor method, it was right as rain! :D

Didn\'t manage to catch it on the video but shortly after that it popped a massive shot and Prof got a bit freaked out since he parks right behind XD lol

Edit:

Is also needing a new header, gasket and (if it isn\'t a one piece) the mid section of pipe to replace the cats - from the cans down to where the Y-pipe meets the cat\'s it\'s perfectly fine, the rest however needs replacing.

Anybody got one going free, cheap or grinder price?

I might know of a header, but it\'s not as simple as just swapping it all over... Ideally you want to dump the airpump and block off the valve assemblies on the inlet at the same time.  It\'s well worth saving up to do it in one hit :)

Sounds like this isn\'t going to get done any time soon. T_T let\'s hope it\'s just a gasket?

The downpipe on the egi is co-axial, with blown air going around the outer section, it\'s a leak or a split on that layer that you can probably hear...

I will have a set of spare block off plates :)

Lacey

Firstly we need to jack it up and assess the problem properly from underneath, probably take some photo\'s etc, see which bits are okay and which bits need sorting desperately before it can go on the road. But anything is welcome. :)

Might also be the split air pipe, they rust through with no provocation!
