Just would like a list of bulb numbers for the FC. Want to change all bulbs to LED ones.

Please add or correct but the ones i believe are correct are:

Headlight H4 (HID)
Side lights 501
Brake lights 380 (all 4 of them?)
Indicators 307

I was told the number plate bulbs are 501 but from memory they were not (maybe they are on uk spec cars?).

I know prof has changed to 100% LED lights maybe he can list all the bulb numbers?

Cheers :)

All except for the number plate lights - haven\'t found a stock led replacement bulb that throws light at the right angle for those.

But 1156 / 1157 are the LED equivalents for the rear lights and the indicators / reverse / fog lights.

Incidentally - I modded the lens on the drivers side to take a reverse light lens, and then took advantage of the rear lights being dual filament to make the centre ones into fogs (outer lights only are wired to brakes, with all 4 lights low filaments for the rear light function).

Part of the reason for doing this, is that it\'s an ar$e of a job to change bulbs on the vert - as you have to take half the boot trim out, unlike on the coupe where you have a nice access hatch to get at them :)

If you decide to go LED - go for the lights with the multple 1W LED units - not the ones with lots of small leds - as they are not bright enough.

thanks prof :)

you mean go for these ones?

or these?

How many of each do you need?
whats teh differance between 1156 and 1157? or same thing?

Go for the bottom ones - can\'t remember which way round it is now, but one part number has 2 contacts on the base, one only has 1.

The indicators/reverse/fog are a single contact bulb, the brake/rear lights are dual filament - so need a 2 contat base.

You need 4 of each to do all the bulbs ( 4 red duals, 2 amber singles, 1 white single, and then depending on if it\'s fog or reverse light a single red or another white).

Oh - here you go - the lights are ba15 base - this site explains the differences:

Fronts are, the side indicators are those glass wedgy bulbs - not sure on the part number - I was going to replace mine with Single 10mm bright amber leds, the same sort I used for the front side lights.

Hi Liam

As you\'re looking at bulbs does this mean you have got your car back?

That could be as simple as a lose alternator belt and could have been fixed roadside - did it cough / misfire when you attempted to boot it, but idle ok?

L18M

idle was ok, just acc on load then it would stutter. no bangs. dont think was alt belt as the voltage on the commander was at 13v ish everytime i looked at it.
if just cruising at fixed rpm then is ok also.

when it judders it voilently kinda stops (like being hit from behind) then acc again.
