In this digital age we get to see so much more than before - live streaming of the tsunami, webcams, video phones etc I\'m not sure if it\'s good or bad? Years ago we could only imagine the horrors from people\'s stories, now we get to live through it in real-time.

It must be devastating to lose everything and with so many casualties - plus all those people who are still unaccounted for. My heart goes out to them all - makes you realise how lucky we are in the UK.

To all the friends

As you know, A huge earthquake and tsunami struck northern part of Japan on March 11. My family, my friends and myself are all safe because we are living in Tokyo. But uncountable numbers of people are still suffering from serious trouble and inconvenience there. Please be in prayers for them.

Glad to hear you are all ok.
Think all of our prayers are with everyone effected by this.

This is supposed to help those who have friends and family in affected area\'s, though I can\'t vouch for whether it\'s any good, as I don\'t know anybody to look for.

Hope this is of use to one or two of you.

Yesterday I received the sad news that a good friend of mine was killed in the quake/tsunami.
He was only 27 years old.

Rest in peace, Taro. You will be missed.
