I\'m assuming it\'s for the front fog lights as the one in the console by the.... whatever else is there and the mirrors adjuster is disconnected and broken?

Seriously I have no clue whatsoever.

One upside I noticed today is that the interior red uhhh... carpeting? across the entire room is so pristine it looks like it was only put on yesterday.

One other thing I really do desperately need (and I\'m guessing these will be rare as rocking horse ****) is a replacement sunroof. T_T

I have the feeling mines not far off rusting straight through to the interior and ruining the beautiful practically brand new roofing.

Right, I\'ve got pretty much a whole interior in grey - not sure I can help on the gear stick rubber though...

..Providing you can arrange collection - then come and take what you want - gratis, I need to clear some space. (Drop me a PM)

There\'s also a JVC 6cd changer in the bood wired in to work with the JVC stereo I have sat in the garage. I don\'t listen to CD\'s anymore though I do everything by SD card and USB storage, so will be keeping the stereo in the civic, to put in the EGI when I sell up and swap over.

Thusly will be putting the 6cd changer and JVC matching stereo up for sale for anybody that wants it for cheaps, it\'s no use to me and it\'s taking up space where I\'ll be installing my twin subs. hopefully after sorting a decent back half-cage-strut-brace that takes up as little of the boot space as possible.

Only thing I think I noticed is that the JVC stereo has a 6cd changer slot on the front shaped almost like a casette for the cd changer controller which doesn\'t seem to be anywhere in the car. Pics to come when I can be arsed to dig it out the garage. XD

Pics following as promised from restoring some of the spray painted red interior.

In a year or so\'s time when I can afford to have the car fully stripped out and resprayed pure gloss white through the entire thing, putting this red interior back in is going to look amaaaaaaaaaaazing! (sorry, massive obsession with white cars having red bits, like interiors or trims, or engine parts etc XD)

Anyway. Before and after shot (one done, one partly done, scroll up for a full before)

One less thing I need to replace to bring the interior back to it\'s original condition. :)

I don\'t suppose somebody can source me a few good open-door and interior shots of what the red-interior\'ed EGI\'s are actually SUPPOSED to look like inside? i.e. what\'s meant to be red, what bits are meant to be black, etc etc.

Yeah, that\'s probably why, red interior is very retro 70\'s 80\'s style and black was the big thing in the leadup to the early 90\'s so red got harder to shift. :/

I absolutely love red, my end-goal is to have my EGI very similar to the pic above - white with red interior and red accents here and there, and polish & paint the engine shined metal, white and red when I swap out for the TII.

So hopefully pretty much what\'s pictured above maybe with (yeah right) a Mariah kit.

and the thing in the centre console - should be a coin holder and front and rear fog light switches ( although the front fog switch is more than rare on a EGI ) and a miror switch

are the switches broke , or is the wiring all a mess ??

From what I can tell the front fog lights switch has been moved to the front of the center console rather than by the electric mirrors, tested today and it does turn the front fog lights on and off, no idea what the wiring is like on it, everything on this car seems to be a bit cowboy builder style.

The switch that is now in the coin holder bit by the mirror toggle is not connected to anything, nor does it behave properly, it wobbles back and forth, still switches on and off but seems a little broken - good thing is the front fog lights switch I DO have can always be moved back there and re-wired properly. Unless the broken one is meant to do the rear fogs, I have no idea where the hell anything goes or is even meant to go in this car, it\'s like it\'s been fully rewired, just really badly. T_T

Are you sure thats a foglight and not an adjustable suspension switch?

Serious question, but unlikely unless the car is an import...
