Hi everyone,

I have got my BP engine from FlickstRR, it was built by Hayward rotary, I have been told it is running FC housings, FD rotors with FD corner springs and the 2mm hardened apex seals.

I thought originally that the engine was just an FC engine with an FD front section with FD internals, this isn\'t the case. I have just had a look at the engine closer and these are the random things I have found so far:

FD waterpump, alternator, PS pump are there as expected as well as the FC LIM with FC/FD adaptor for an FD UIM

Here are the odd things:

No idle pulley for the air pump that has been removed, guessing it was running a shorter belt?
Coils on top of the engine - these are tiny, so I am guessing they are FD?
FC OEM top feed fuel rails (although the build up photos show that they were billet so I don\'t know where those went!)
Different oil filler system - guessing FD?

It seems that I have a full FD engine, but with FC plates, meaning it can run the FC UIM with the top feed OEM injectors.

Also I am guessing the end plate is FC as it wouldn\'t fit onto the FC gearbox?

I will post up some photos in a bit with some of the random stuff, please can I have help finding out what I have so I can see what stuff now fits!

FD front end:

OEM FC fuel rails in the OEM FC LIM

TINY coils - are these FDs?

Different dipstick to FC with different filler system

FD front end with airpump removed so a shorter belt required (standard on single turbo FD\'s)

Looks like FD coils too.
There are performance cars and then there is the RX-7...........

12.3 second 1/4 mile, terminal speed of 122mph (1st ever drag run on a TO4R)

engine built by....... umm me! now powered by a T51 Kai......

You got a picture of the rear iron - from the side and from the back?

The FD\'s mount there, so I am guessing you\'ve got an FC centre iron if it was stock mounted in an FC?

I will see if I can get a pic of it, it bolted to an FC gearbox though, so perhaps it has FD front iron, FC housing, FC centre plate, FC housing, FC rear iron, FC UIM with FC rails for top feed and then everything else is FD?

I guess I could get rid of some of the bits like the coils etc as I already have those on the FC, I guess they are on top of the engine as it doesn\'t have a top mounted IC to need space for.
