evap??

Hi everyone,  a friend of mine has a poorly Rx8.  She has been told she has a faulty evap system in the fuel pump and its going to cost over a thousand pound to fix. Anyone know anything about this fault?   Sorry about the poor message but Im using my phone.  Thanks :-)

Morning Owen! Is this any use to you? Worth a quick read as it may help, may also be worth checking if this was ever a recognised fault subject to re-call?
