If you are wondering what has happened to my previous post, I got to wondering what the laws on Libel were and whether the things I said -though true - were wise. So I asked the administrators to remove my post. You just got in and read it before they did it....

As an expanation to you other guys, I have had unfortunate business dealings with the owner of the "FB in a Hedge", and mouthed off a few unwise statements. Apologies.

. Saw the ad and read \'any questions\' (as one does) and the remark \'which sunroof, as both available\' - so my 1st thought was our mate Mr Nock.
Had Dave not wanted it I would have purchased myself and sold in the members section of the forum - but the rest is now history.

Hi like i say i dont know anything about these, I was after either a mx-5 or one of these and this turned up first.
body wise is is very good , needs the rear of the sills welded but i have looked no further, the car is all complete and unmolested.
The old style log book that came with it shows one owner from new.
The interior looks complete if only a little damp in smells as i found the sunroof to be a tad open and the tail gate was not shut properly.
Engine runs sweet, i did think it was to good to break but thats how i ended up doing another morris oxford as i bought that one for spares for my other one, so i cannot justify any more projects.

I am hoping to take all the running gear and wiring loom, some odds and sods and then sell the items left as it would get more cars on the road.

Vin, drop me an email mate I need a gold drivers door if you do break her. Would be cool to have another gold one on the road though.....not many S2\'s left now.

Incidentally if it is just odds and sods you are after then I can put you in touch with a vendor who has stacks and stacks of 1st gen stuff.
