Sorry about the wanted ad in this section again - same as before, people will see it! I SHOULD be going to Rotorstock too if it makes things easier.

Basically managed to go into the back of someone tonight - guy in front of him braked hard, he braked hard, I braked VERY hard, unfortunately too late :(

Stock TII \'vert aluminium bonnet now has a LOVELY huge crease and is entirely deformed :( So would like another one, preferably aluminium and preferably black, but what\'ve you got?

Of course this means my bumper is even more foobared than it was before. So a one of those too please :( Again, preferably black, but not so bothered as I can spray it easier. Stock of aftermarket - as long as it\'s cheap and not smashed!

DTSS eliminator bushes - been after these for AGES. Paid for a set ages ago, guy promised he sent them, they never arrived. :(

Thanks everyone. 3 things have kept me cheered up this evening - seeing a good friend, being asked if I wanted to meet up by a pretty girl, and my car still driving like it did before!

Thanks for the offer, but I need a TII one really for the scoop, and you\'re in Essex :P I really, really appreciate the community spirit here on MRC though, everyone looks after eachother!

After speaking to Prof about an ongoing problem with my car, I also need a new OMP... Anyone got one? :D

Skifledanabit

If you really are having problems and you fancy a day out, try RXMotors down in Dorset, he will most likely have a bonnet in good condition, plus a whole load of other things. I know it\'s still quite a way, but you\'re closer than me!! Lol

Hi,

If you are still looking for some DTSS eliminator bushes I have a set.  Bought last year from a member on here but have not got round to fitting them.  Was planning on doing it this year but am currently busy trying to fix Yaris (head gasket) and could do with the money if im honest as I want to do at least one track day.

Send me an email to mark@szymkowiak.co.uk if you are interested.

Thanks

Mark

I have a working OMP - you\'ll have to transfer some lines, as it\'s missing a couple of these, but it\'s working electrically.

FYI the resistance check for the 6 pin socket is:

a  b  c

d  e  f

a and c to e are 20 ohms  (40 ohms between a and c)

d and f to b are 20 ohms  (40 ohms between d and f)

no connection between a and d or between b and e  or between c and f

This is measured on the oil metering pump end - not the ecu end :)

You\'re welcome to the pump - I can bag it up and post it to you this weekend for early next week.

It\'s fiddly to change on the car, but can be done without engine out and so forth.

BTW - if you\'re current OMP has shorted, it might have blown the transistor pack in the ECU - meaning it may still have problems even with a good ecu in - it\'s a bit harder to test for this but this condition is rarer than it going open circuit - which is more likely what\'s happened

Sorry for the delay - yes please I\'ll have it! Drop me an email regarding postage etc! Guess I\'ll just have it for the end of the week instead :p Maybe even for MOT time! We\'ll see, awaiting a new numberplate atm tbh, and got to sort out one of my hubs (stuck snapped wheel stud).
We\'ll see regarding transistor pack I guess. Can only hope it\'s OK!

Actually, have you got a front left hub too? :p With wheel studs in of course...

Timmyc

hey mate, i have a red alloy bonnet if you want it, would need to be posted though, im in southern scotland

Been down to Brett\'s on the scrounge with Lacey - so didn\'t get posted today. It will get posted tomorrow morning in a sizeable jiffy. Not sure how much it will cost to post - but will cost you a coffee / beer at the next event... :)

Email me you\'re address ;)

As for hubs - I may have one going in a month or two - need to get new bearings put in the ones I got from Pete, and clean them up a little / paint them - then they will be going on my car - my old ones will be coming off - the drivers side one is good, the passenger side one has a small amount of bearing play - but is serviceable.

Well, managed to get the stud pressed out of the hub, so that\'s done. OMP arrived today, thanks Dave, you\'re a star (as per normal!)

Failed MOT though so need to:
change front bumper (doable immediately)
change bonnet (expensive)
change o/s front wheel bearing (doable)
change rear damper bottom bushes (this could be tricky)
change numberplate for UK size one :( (frustrating)
fit front brake lines properly
