Duxford Car Shows

The Imperial War Museum Duxford [M11 near Stansted] is holding two car related shows this year.

MRC did the Wings & Wheels last year, there is also a Spring Car Show.

Thought a club day at this one in May

Duxford is my local so I would like to come along, I should have my rotary MX5 ready by then, if not, I\'ll bring the RX7 and have space for the kids.

As the Duxford spring event is very close to the brooklands date I have applied on behalf of the club to attend the summer show instead.

Had a mail back from Duxford, they would be pleased to have MRC attend and enclosed this

We are planning to have a special arena display and commentator for this year’s Summer Car Show. If one of your members would like to speak publically about their car and it fits into one of these 3 categories - pre 1950s cars / 50s-60s cars / 70s-80s cars – please let us know
two weeks before the event. We look forward to hearing from you but regrettably cannot
guarantee that all cars will enter the arena. The choice is at the IWM’s discretion.
Provisional timings for the live commentary are: 11am for pre 1950s cars / 12.30pm for
1950s-60s cars / and 2.30pm for 1970s-80s cars.

Lets have a few more names it\'s a really good day out.
