air con removal

Evening people,
 
OK, after discovering i gots to replace the radiator in my FD after a wee leak ocurred , i have thought of getting rid of the air con at the same time seeing as i dont use it, it doesnt blow particularly cold anyways and most importantly i think you get better cooling without the air con rad in place?
 
Before i make myself out to be a bit thick, i\'ve not actually looked at doing this yet, just an idea (and its dark outside!! :Laugh) so If i take out the air con (all the gubbins involved) are there any complications i need to know about. I\'m guessing i\'d need a new belt aswell thats a bit shorter, so all pointers welcome.

Yep, new belt and thats it  Legally you are supposed to get your refrigerant emptied and disposed of properly, not just vented to atmosphere.
