Im currently restoring an RX3 and im wondering if any of the other Mazdas shared the same rear brake components as the RX3 ?
Avoiding the usual (and hard to find bits for) cars like the 808,818,rx4,rx2 etc

Im looking for new or good used Rear brake drum adjusters, brake lining retaining springs and handbrake cable.

Any help would be much appreciated and rewarded with a nice cold glass of a beverage of your choice at RotorStock :D or a nice cup of tea :D

The brake adjuster currently looks like this and duznt look like its ever going to be free and moving again.

These rear brake assembly\'s are very similar to Ford assembly\'s, so my suggestion would be to either adapt Ford drum brakes or go the whole hog and fit Ford rear disc\'s and calipers, either should be quite easy to fit.

This suggestion is because as you know its going to be real tough to find complete Mazda assembly\'s

Ok panic over, after a full 12 hrs of soaking, 3 hrs of wire brushing and heating up with a oxy they finally started moving. and now are cleaned up and working perfect :D

There\'s a company in huddersfield steve called, Replacement Services. If you do want to try source a new one, they are prety good, got some bits for the rx4 which can\'t normally be found. Parts numbers and stuff are helpful for them.

you dont have a number for them do you Grant ?
