Fb being broken.
Opal green or silver?

Steve-A

I\'ll get one when I\'ve got the money... I\'m waiting to see if the guy with the FB that was on ebay locally with an Elford front gets back to me or not!

Supercharger sounds like an interesting option honestly, I need to get researching!

bolt one of these on then... that\'ll pump some mixture into it. Shame it\'s on a V8

Those Elford rear spoilers in my opinion are the best looking for a 1st gen, especially when colour coded, fibreglass too,so paint won\'t peel off.

Bet that pic above is a Jaguar V8!

Don\'t worry Steve that supercharger is bloo$y pricey, looks nice though.

Steve-A

It is kinda pricey.

The Camden Supercharger kits for rotary sound interesting though. $2400 buys a complete kit for a 12a or 13b to run up to 11 psi of boost with a draw through carb....

you could do with that car off ebay then with the 12at engine because they were low compression engines.... giving you more scope for greater boost.
The standard 12a like the Elford used had standard compression which limited the amount of boost it could stand.

Steve-A

True, though the auction has ended for the eBay car, and I\'d probably look for a 13b anyway.

Either way this is all way into the realms of speculation seeing as there\'s along way to go before I\'m ready to even think about engines!

Looks like a parts / or project car

This is the car in Dec 2009 Stu. It moved from Hartfordshire to Hucknall.

We commented in 2009 and thought it was a gonna then.

The ebay ad says 1982 car but there was a spare engine floating around with this car. Plus we can see it\'s S3 in the Pic.

I hate cleaning cars! I\'ve only hoovered this car a couple of times in 2 years...
I might have it valeted in the spring! I\'m not a fan of steaming modern engines though... tends to do more harm than good with all those electronics.
